How do I store an oyster?

Oysters should be stored between 40 and 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

What is the shelf life of a Salt Shaker Oyster?

We harvest and deliver to our distribution partners to guarantee you the longest shelf life possible. On average oysters can live up to 2 weeks out of water .

How do I shuck an oyster?

We recommend shucking our Chincoteague Salt Shakers from the front of the shell ( bill-stabbing method) for the best yield. If you would like to schedule an in person tutorial for your staff please contact us.
